The concept of basic is like the sun in the solar system, the whole of the poker world receives it energy from the betting.  Hands can be played in different ways.  Per rules, a bet should directly indicate the status of the hand, in other words, anyone that bets high holds a good hand and anyone that bets low has a hand of less scope, but people do not follow this path always, they purposefully bet this way or the opposite and this kind of approach is what complicates the game of poker. This kind of complication is what makes it interesting also.

How to bet no poker is still an unanswered and yet to be explored myth.  Players around the world are making millions and zillions of betting everyday and yet there is not just a copy cat idea of betting, there are just clues to betting styles.  What works here never works there. An idea of being able to differentiate between what will work and what will not work is a superior betting quality.

Another thing that we will come across in poker is that we will be able to see two hands that we might think has an equal chance of winning, in reality there are no two hands with equal chances of winning, anyone with a better bluffing skill to make the other fold eventually makes the pot. Being able to master how to bet on poker in such situations is a real challenge.  This situation is tricky indeed because the chance for winning is 50:50 and any player can win anytime.  Sometimes we will over judge that we are in the strong position and sometimes we might under judge ourselves about whether we are in the strong position.  For every decision a small difference should be identified and that is between the yes and no and sure and unsure, which is the challenging puzzle, but will be rewarding when solved correctly.

The bottom line to be understood is that there is going to be no lucky and unlucky person in the poker world. Anyone that does their homework right is the luck person and anyone that is lazy or dud enough t understand concepts is unlucky.  Luck visits the hard working person very often and shows up as victory for well planned bets.  Bad luck is for the rest who did not work right in a particular table.  Luck does not reward reputation; it rewards the best approach in any point in time.
